The Hero's Journey in Fiction Writing System Reviewed!

If you do not know this, the dream to be a bestseller author is impossible!

What does Star Wars, The Matrix, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Beowulf have in common?

The answer: The story of Heroes

The truth is, in countless of books, movies, tv dramas, sport matches and even in every form of published art, there always exist a hero in the plot; the guiding light in the night. It is through these heroes, who are situated in a society trifled with unrest and problems, find purpose and meaning in themselves to do the courageous proud.

To put it frankly, to make a story from good to excellent, it is about selling the hero's vantage point to the readers; allowing the readers to see from your hero's point of view, to feel his emotions, to taste his sweat and celebrate his glory. A good story gives a great plot. But an excellent story sells a fantasy to the reader, giving the reader a whole new opportunity to explore his or her imagination. Let others not be merely amused at your book, let them be enthralled by it!

Rob Parnell created The Hero's Journey in Fiction Writing System as an invaluable source of information to accelerate your process of writing a successful heroic fantasy. I took up the book along with the easy writing system sold along with it which you can find here.

Unlike most other writing systems which focuses on writing a plot of interest and simply plonk in your characters, assuming this would naturally form a bestsellers. This system provides a
methodical approach to brainstorming the heroes, their personalities, their mindset as well as introduce novel concepts (which I am unable to leak) integral in books such Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Da Vinci Code.

I must say this book is useful and thoroughly applicable to both beginners and advanced authors in the field. In fact it is a great teaching resource with applications to creative writing and training creative thinking. People who enjoy reading fiction are all the more welcomed to purchase this system as this will seriously open your eyes to see a successful fiction book beyond its story plot or situation, but to understand the incredible artistry and magic that takes place when authors pen the pages.

Do understand that you will never write an excellent story to reach the publishers by merely buying this guide.

But if you are an individual willing to take the challenge and engage yourself to constantly develop that killer book,
Rob Parnell's Hero's Journey in Fiction Writing System is ridiculously perfect for you. Do not miss this chance to transform your dream to reality!

Five Essential Steps to Writing Successful Novels

The Hero's Journey in Fiction Writing System is the total package in helping you to accelerate your writing process. Nonetheless certain essential writing skills must be in place to allow yourself to become that bestseller author you've always dreamed of being.

Step 1 - Improve your Language

Language skills refer to your communication abilities through words. If you are to write a bestseller, you obviously must have sufficient abilities to communicate coherently. However, thankfully, you need not be a total English buff as you can see that many bestsellers such as the Harry Potter series were written in simple English. The point is, to keep things simple and clear.

Step 2 - Put Emotion

A novel without emotions and feelings will never even make it to the publishers! Be warned once again, nobody reads a book merely for an interesting plot. If that should be the case, everyone might as well read the book summary and save a hell lot of time. A book must be written like the way a chef cooks food: the plot is the staple, while the emotions, details and the action of the novel are the beef!

Step 3 - Appeal to the Senses

Humans have five senses. But you must realize that the book you write will only require the use of a single sense: sight. (you use your eyes to read a book...I'm assuming you're human) However the story you create in your book has the ability to invoke all the senses of the reader through his imagination. You must remember that you write to sell a fantasy, not some colorful written junk.

Step 4 - Pimp it up with Action

Action in a novel is not as important as appealing to the senses of the reader (step 3). Even so, it continues to be important in bringing freshness in the story. If Lord of The Rings was without the battle scene, it would most definitely be losing money. The key to writing great action is to put yourself into the shoes of the characters in the situation that you describe in your story. Consider what you might think and feel in the vantage point of the character. Remember that every hero (even in real life) has fears. No one is absolutely fearless or courageous. Take note that in order to allow your book to have deeper connections with your reader, you must write with hinges of reality.

Step 5 - Persist and Persevere

No author can finish writing a book without persistence. I believe a lot in positive assertion. Write a note to yourself, reminding yourself the goals for writing the book. Is it for personal satisfaction? Is it for financial freedom? Write the goals down and the steps you are intending to take. Recite them whenever you develop doubts and continue as planned.
